Tyler Posey Wants to be in a Batman Beyond Movie

After the debacle that was Justice League, the DCEU has decided to take a breather, and the only DC film coming out this year is Aquaman starring Jason Momoa. There are a ton of other movies in the works for DC, and Teen Wolf's Tyler Posey is hopeful that he could star in a Batman Beyond movie—should the studio decide to make the film.

Talking to ScreenRant to promote his upcoming film, Truth or Dare, Posey explained:

"I always got… Remember Batman Beyond? I loved Batman Beyond! That'd be fun, man, I don't want, I don't want to get too old before I got to pitch it."

There has been news coming out that WB is working on some Batman spinoffs like Nightwing and Batgirl, but those movies are currently in the backburner. As of now the studio is focusing on movies like Shazam!, Wonder Woman 2, and Green Lantern Corps.

I could say that making a Batman Beyond movie would definitely be an interesting move, and WB can bank on Posey's Teen Wolf fanbase to spark interest. It would be interesting to see the DCEU actually span multiple timelines. With the first Wonder Woman being a period piece, I think a look at Neo-Gotham would be something I would like to see.

The next DCEU movie, Aquaman, is set to come out Dec. 21.
