Changmin of TVXQ gained a lot of attention when his second mini-album, Devil, debuted at number one on iTunes in several countries around the world.
On January 13, the strongest vocalist returned to the spotlight as a solo artist, giving the Kpop industry a fantastic gift. As soon as his second mini-album, Devil, was released, it immediately captured the hearts of listeners. Upon its release, the album debuted at the top of the iTunes ranking, demonstrating the legendary idol's amazing global reach.
Specifically, the album ranked No.1 on the iTunes Top Albums charts in 14 regions. This includes Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey, Thailand, Colombia, Lithuania, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
Changmin’s seductive and irresistible presence was further underlined in the second mini-album. His vocal charms and tremendous musical color were visibly shown in the release, and it’s not an exaggeration to say he exceeds perfection in every sense.
Released on January 13 at 6:00 PM KST, Devil features a total of six songs, including the title track of the same name. The tracks “Maniac,” “Fever,” “Alien,” “Dirty Dancing,” and “Airplane Mode” are also on the album. Changmin participated in the lyrics writing for “Devil” and “Alien,” while SM Entertainment’s hitmaker Yoo Youngjin produced and wrote the lyrics for “Fever.”
Changmin starts promotions for Devil
Changmin’s second mini-album, Devil, is his first Korean solo return in over two years. This follows his solo debut mini-album Chocolate, which was released in 2020. It featured the title track of the same name and a song that featured Chungha’s attractive voice.
To start the promotions for the latest album, the proud singer performed his title track “Devil” for the first time on Music Bank. Changmin drew a lot of attention as he met fans on January 14 for a powerful performance that overwhelms the song’s fascinating tune.
After his stage performance on Music Bank, Changmin will also appear on MBC’s Music Core and SBS’ Inkigayo for this week of promotions.
