Tom Holland: The Black Suit Spider-Man hasn't Been Discussed Yet

With the arrival of Thanos and the Venom movie set to come out this year, a lot of people are curious on whether Marvel is planning to give us the Black Suit spider-man anytime soon. As per Tom Holland, however, there haven't been any discussions about bringing the suit to the big screen… yet.

Talking to ScreenRant, Holland explains:

"The black suit hasn't even been a discussion… It hasn't, not in the Disney studio it hasn't been discussed… Maybe it will be in the future. We don't know."

Seeing that the suit is of alien origin, some people think that the arrival of Thanos would be the perfect point to have the symbiote introduced in the MCU. We don't know what the origin of Tom Hardy's Venom will be, but any true Spider-Man fan knows that his origin is very closely tied to Peter Parker. Why else would the symbiote have an affinity for spider-like abilities? Heck, look at Venom's logo.

At best, we should just see this as misdirection from Holland himself. Seeing that he does have a tendency to spill secrets, it's possible that Marvel simply didn't tell him that they would be introducing the black suit soon. They even said that they only gave Holland part of the script for Infinity War so as to prevent him from accidentally revealing anything.

Catch Holland in Avengers: Infinity War when it hits theaters April 27.
