After all the build-up, the buzz, and fan expectations, it was only a matter of time before Spider-Man's appearance was confirmed in the Avengers: Infinity War epic movie coming out in 2018. Now, it's official, and the confirmation comes from no less than star Tom Holland himself who does it in co-star Robert Downey Jr.'s Facebook Live video.
The two stars make the announcement at the tail end of the clip. It was a high note to the five-minute video where Holland played anonymous interviewer to Downey, asking him more details about the Marvel epic.
Spider-Man's first appearance in Captain America: Civil War was one of that film's highlights and we can't wait to see what he will do as he joins Marvel's greatest heroes against one of the most powerful villains in the galaxy.
