Tom Holland Reveals How Many Films He Signed on as Spider-Man

Tom Holland made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Captain America: Civil War, and his first solo film as the web-slinger will be Spider-Man: Homecoming. That counts as two appearances, so how many films did Holland signed up in his contract with Marvel Studios and Sony?

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Holland revealed how many films he signed up for as Spider-Man/Peter Parker.

"They give you options, and those could be exercised whenever. Like a cameo in Avengers. I'm unclear as to which movies, though. I do know I have three Spider-Man movies and three solo movies contracted. But if you have another movie, Marvel is so good at working around it. They're very respectful of your life, really. They understand that you have to work on other movies, and they try and fix it up so you can work around each other."

The way Holland worded his points was confusing. I assume that the "Spider-Man movies" and solo films are different. He's probably referring to other Marvel films in which he'll appear as Spider-Man, so if that's the case, Civil War would count as one, and he'll have two other non-solo Spider-Man films in his contract with Marvel and Sony. He'll most likely appear in Avengers: Infinity War as well as the fourth Avengers film.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
