Tom Holland Grades his Spider-Man Costume

Playing a superhero can exact a price. For Tom Holland, it is wearing a not-so-comfortable costume in the much-awaited Spider-Man: Homecoming. Buzz about the blue-and-red tights and Holland's performance has been overwhelmingly positive since his scene-stealing debut in last year's Captain America: Civil War. The actor captured the wise-cracking irreverence that had been lost on his predecesors.

His costume is widely regarded as highly faithful to the comic book series.Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man paid a tribute to its roots by calling Spider-Man "Underoos."

ShortList Magazine recently asked Holland how he felt about his costume. They asked him to rate it from one to ten, with ten indicating the highest level of comfort.

Comicbook posts his candid reply:

"A solid three ... It's not comfy but it's the Spider-Man outfit - it's the coolest thing ever. You look like a badass and feel like a gangster. The best thing is wearing it meeting kids - they genuinely think you have superpowers."

Holland and his new duds will show us how this Spider-Man will swing in the July 2017 premiere of Spider-Man: Homecoming.
