Thor: Ragnarok Director Says That There’s Going To Be A Lot Of Deleted Scenes

It looks like Thor: Ragnarok's going to have quite a number of deleted scenes because Marvel director Taika Waititi's got too many funny scenes to fit in Marvel Studios' highly anticipated superhero space adventure.

The first few Thor: Ragnarok previews that Marvel's been rolling out has been promising a whole lot of fun for Marvel fans, but with Waititi keeping the film to a hundred minutes, it seems like some of the movie's funny scenes aren't going to make the final cut.

Speaking in an interview with Collider, Waititi assured fans that though Thor: Ragnarok is much shorter than the usual 2 hour Marvel movie, all of the deletd scenes are going to make it into the film's home release.

"There will be a lot of deleted scenes. Great scenes. Funny, funny moments that—you can't have it all. As I say you gotta kill those puppies, so we had to take some of those things out. Those scenes will exist so people will be able to see them."

While a lot of fans feel disappointed that Thor: Ragnarok won't run as long as they've hoped for, but Waititi promises that keeping the Marvel movie short will keep fans "wanting more." Let's see whether Ragnarok really does keep fans on the edge of the seats till the very end.

Thor: Ragnarok makes its big premiere on November 3.
