Thor Ragnarok: Chris Hemsworth Answers Jack Black's Challenge To A ‘Battle Of The Jams’

Earlier this week, Jack Black had challenged Thor Odinson to a ‘Battle of the Jams' after Thor: Ragnarok made use of Immigrant Song—something Black claims to have done first. Hemsworth has now answered to the challenge and he does so with some classic Thor humor.

Check it out:

As Hemsworth's star has steadily rose, he's actually played some fun "beautiful idiot" characters. He played the goofy secretary in the Ghostbusters reboot, and with Thor: Ragnarok, director Taika Waititi has made Thor a bit more dimwitted, but also a bit funnier.

I don't know what this ‘Battle of the Jams' entails, but I'm thinking it's going to be some sort of sing-off with Hemsworth versus Black. Now I know Black has accomplished himself as a singer already, but I'm not ready to watch Hemsworth try and belt out some pipes (if he has them at all).

With the Warriors Three gone from the MCU, I'm actually eager to see Thor form the "League of Realms" from the comics, which includes himself as well as one of every species from the nine realms. I can imagine Jack Black playing a fun dwarf character or maybe even a CG troll.

We don't know when Marvel is planning to release another Thor movie, but we can catch Thor: Ragnarok now in theaters.
