This Larger Game of Thrones Conspiracy Might Happen After the Latest Episode's Direwolf Appearance

In Season 6, Episode 3, titled Oathbreaker, Smalljon Umber presents Ramsay with the "gift" teased in the preview released last week. He presents to Ramsay Rickon Stark, and to prove the identity of Rickon, Umber presents the head of the direwolf as well.

However, as shocking as the moment may look, fans aren't so convinced by the head's authenticity. This caused some fans to speculate that the wolf head isn't actually Shaggydog's and that Umber's "gift" was just a ruse for a bigger plan to actually overthrow Ramsay.

Check out the reaction of several fans following the episode:

Jon Snow may be alive, but Game of Thrones isn't really complete without breaking our hearts. We experience this once again in the latest episode of the hit HBO series when we discover the death of another beloved character in the series – Rickon's direwolf, Shaggydog.

Melisandre is even brought into the picture just in case the head really is Shaggydog's.

Whether this theory is the result of the frustration of fans or not, it can't be denied that it is possible. It would also be fan service if Ramsay gets to meet his match this time. It is Game of Thrones, and if Melisandre could bring back Jon Snow, anything could happen.

Game of Thrones airs Sundays on HBO.
