There’s Something Hilariously Wrong With The New Poster For Ready Player One

We just got a new poster for Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One, and with it comes the promise of a new trailer dropping soon. As pointed out by Paultoes on Twitter, however, there's something weird about the trailer that was released, and it's a detail you can't unsee once it's pointed out to you.

Granted, this is just the first of many more posters that will be arriving for the movie, and you bet there's going to be one whole ensemble piece where the entire cast comes together. As for the release of the new trailer, it's speculated to be attached to a live-stream event that will be hosted by author Ernie Cline which is set to start 9:45 a.m. PT.

Here's the synopsis for Ready Player One:

When the creator of a virtual reality world called the OASIS dies, he releases a video in which he challenges all OASIS users to find his Easter Egg, which will give the finder his fortune. Wade Watts finds the first clue and starts a race for the Egg.

Ready Player One is set for a release on March 30, 2018.
