Hawkeye has been a key member of the Avengers since the team made their Marvel Cinematic debut in 2012, and fans may have seen the master archer retire before, but according to Jeremy Renner, Hawkeye will see some exciting stuff in Avengers: Infinity War.

During an interview with Hey U Guys, Renner talked about the upcoming Avengers film and said that he knows next to nothing about the Marvel film. "If I knew anything, I still couldn't tell you, but I don't know anything about it. I know there's Infinity War - Avengers 3 & 4 happening. I mean, I don't know anything outside of my involvement," the actor said. He went on to joke, "I can't tell you. What if I'm dead in the first one? I don't know. I might already be dead."

However, Renner said something interesting about his role in the film. "I know they're writing it [the script], and I know the talks of what it's about sounded fantastic," he said. "There's some really great ideas, and they are following certain parts of Infinity War. It's some real exciting stuff for lots of characters, especially for what they're thinking of doing with Hawkeye."

Avengers: Infinity War is set to release in theaters on April 25, 2016.
