The Walking Dead Star Might Play MCU's Norman Osborn In Spider-Man: Far From Home

We're less than a month away from the premiere of Spider-Man: Far From Home but it looks like the film may have made a last-minute casting for an important role. New details may have confirmed that a former star of The Walking Dead has been cast as the new Norman Osborn of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The scoop comes from Reddit user TheMarvelScoopMaster who has been dishing out some interesting details about the MCU's Phase 4. When the Redditor was asked whether Norman Osborn will make an appearance in Far From Home, it was revealed that the villain will show up in the post-credits scene.

But wait, there's more. The Redditor was promptly asked who would play the future Green Goblin. Interestingly, they confirmed that David Morrissey is being considered for the role.

This certainly ties in with a previous report that Marvel Studios is considering the Walking Dead alum for a major role in MCU's Phase 4. If a deal is made, Morrissey could pop in for a surprise appearance in Far From Home before showing up again in more movies.

Morrissey certainly is a great choice for the role of Norman Osborn. After all, he portrayed the charming yet terrifying Governor in the AMC series, so much so that fans were disappointed when the villain was killed off. We're certainly hoping that Morrissey will surprise us when Far From Home hits theaters next month.

Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released on July 2.
