The showrunners and cast have been very tight-lipped about the biggest thing that will happen once The Walking Dead returns: who gets Lucille's twisted love.
And while fans of Robert Kirkman's original comic material know who it should be, AMC's The Walking Dead has not always stuck with what's been penned and drawn before.
However, that hasn't stopped photos from being snapped and showcased online. Just Jared released a couple of new set photos for The Walking Dead, which feature a couple of characters who are possibly saved from Lucille.
Be warned, there are potential spoilers especially if you have your bets placed on the unusual suspects to survive.
Three of the mainstays sighted in the photos include Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, and Ross Marquand. So that accounts for Rick, Michonne, and Alexandria original Aaron.
However, It's not yet safe to say that they're safe, but considering that the photos look like business as usual and not the way things were left off last season, it's a high possibility. Alanna Masterson, who plays the role of Tara, is also in the set photos. Hit the link above to see all of the fan photos.
Even with these, we don't get any hints to the fates of the characters who are really in danger. I'm talking about Steven Yeun's Glenn, who originally gets to meet Lucille's prickly end in the comics, Lauren Cohan's Maggie Greene, who's the fan pick to die just because that would make such a big impact on the story and Glenn, and even my favorite Norman Reedus' Daryl Dixon.
The other two faces seen in the set photos have not yet been identified as to their role in The Walking Dead. It is possible that they either be part of the new group coming to the show. Cinema Blend had reported that the producers are looking to cast someone for a new leader named Brion.
It's also possible that they can be part of the Saviors. Or perhaps part of The Kingdom, since we know that Ezekiel and his pet tiger Shiva. For now, your guess is as good as ours.
The Walking Dead will be back on Oct. 23 for its seventh season.
