There might be very little information about Peter Dinklage's character in Avengers: Infinity War, but directors Joe and Anthony Russo promise fans that they're going to recognize the Game of Thrones alum the very moment they get to see or hear him on the big screen.
The Marvel directors just recently spoke with JOE.ie about the secret new characters appearing in the first installment in Marvel's two-part Avengers movie, and during the interview, the Russo Brothers were asked whether fans would be able to at least identify Dinklage in Infinity War.
"Uh, you will, yeah," Joe answered. "It may take you a beat or two, but you'll certainly recognize him." Laughing, Anthony then added, "That's all we can say."
Back in January last year the rumor mill began spreading word that Dinklage was in the middle of "early talks" for a "key role" in Infinity War. Dinklage's appearance in the film was confirmed in March this year when fans discovered the Game of Thrones actor's name listed at the bottom of an Infinity War poster.
Though some might probably complain that Joe's answer regarding Dinklage's role remain as vague as ever, it's understandable that the directors would want to keep the actor's character a surprise. Fans are just going to have to hunker down and wait for the film to premiere.
Avengers: Infinity War hits cinemas April 27.
