The Punisher still might be missing its release date, but that doesn't mean that Marvel's forgotten the series. Marketing for the highly anticipated Marvel Netflix series continues, and while fans patiently wait for the release of The Punisher's first official trailer, a new set of photos have made their way online.
Empire magazine's latest issue has a story on The Punisher and Twitter user Tin_Pan_Ali decided to share a few photos from the spread online.
Not only do fans get to see a photo of Frank during his days in the military, but we also get to see a couple of brand-new pictures. While one is a behind-the-scenes image taken from The Punisher's production, the other photo gives fans a glimpse at Micro, Frank's ally and friend.
Check it out down here:
Though it's been quite some time since Marvel announced that it had cast Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Micro, this new photo is our first official look of the character. Information on The Punisher spread also sheds some light on the images, revealing that one scene in the series would feature flashbacks Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) and Micro. Hopefully we'll get to see the two sharing a few light moments, showing their bond as they work on their mission together.
The Punisher doesn't have a release date just yet, but we'll keep everyone updated. The first season of the series is scheduled to premiere sometime this year on Netflix.
