The Punisher Is Bringing Another Daredevil Character Along With Karen Page

It looks like John Bernthal's Frank Castle's going to have another Daredevil character to accompany him in his upcoming Marvel Netflix solo series, The Punisher.

Castle made his big Marvel Netflix debut during the second season of Charlie Cox's solo series, and fans loved the tug between Matt Murdock's ideologies and the Punisher's. Now that Castle's heading off to star in his own show, it looks like a few Daredevil characters are coming along with him including Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and surprise, surprise, Mitchell Ellison (Geoffrey Cantor).

Though left unannounced, Cantor's updated IMDb listing shows the actor as one of the members of The Punisher's cast, heading down to the show to play the New York Bulletin's editor-in-chief. Though he isn't set to appear in The Defenders, it seems like Cantor is lined up to appear in the second and ninth episodes of the first season of The Punisher.

This may not come as a surprise to Daredevil fans – after all, Ellison did not just become Page's mentor in investigative journalism, he also started working with her on an editorial on Castle. We wonder how far the two will follow Castle in the newspaper, and what will become of them in the series.

The Punisher does not have an official release date as of yet, but we'll update everyone as soon as we get word. The Defenders on the other hand is set to release on August 18.
