The Outer Worlds is Coming to Nintendo Switch This June

The Outer Worlds has proven to be the perfect Fallout game that isn't called Fallout, giving fans a fun single-player RPG that they have been craving for. While it wasn't a perfect game, it had a lot of great things about it, from quality writing and its super fun gameplay. Fans who have a PS4, Nintendo Switch, or PC have been able to play the game and it looks like Nintendo Switch fans will finally have a go at the thing.

Obsidian announced that The Outer Worlds will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on June 5. While it's disappointing that the game will be packaged with a digital code instead of a nice cartridge, it's still a quality game that fans should own. If you only have a Nintendo Switch and want to play this game then no one should stop you, even if it's Obsidian themselves.

Seriously guys, if CD Projekt Red can put The Witcher 3 on a cartridge why can't Obsidian?

Whatever the case, this is an excellent game and we can't wait to see how it performs on the system. The Nintendo Switch isn't exactly the most powerful gaming console out there but it's proven to be a miracle machine, with the aforementioned The Witcher 3 being perfectly playable on the console. Here's hoping Obsidian are up to the task when it comes to recreating this game for the system.

After months of waiting, The Outer Worlds will finally come to Switch on June 5.
