A new trailer for Venom has been screened at CinemaCon, and now the trailer is now online for fans to enjoy.

Sony has finally revealed new footage of Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock transforming into Venom. After showing footage of the symbiote taking over Brock's body, the final shot shows the symbiote engulfing his head as his tongue slides out of his gaping maw.

"We are Venom," the anti-hero says.

We also get more footage of Riz Ahmed's villainous character named Dr. Carlton Drake. In the Marvel comics, Drake is known for creating five symbiotes he calls "children": Scream (Donna Diego), Lasher (Ramon Hernandez), Phage (Carl Mach), Agony (Leslie Gesneria) and Riot (Trevor Cole).

Unlike the disappointing teaser released earlier this year, the new trailer shows us the first look at Tom Hardy as Venom in full glory. With Venom set to release in October, the film still has to go through the post-production process with the special effects being finalized before the film's release.

Venom is set to release in theaters on October 5, 2018.
