I think we can all agree that The Mandalorian not only reinvigorated the Star Wars franchise but it also successfully launched Pedro Pascal's career to the stratosphere. The actor has done a tremendous job of portraying the role of Din Djarin, so much so that it's already hard to fathom the idea of him not playing the part.

Believe it or not though, there are rumors circulating all over the web that the 47-year-old actor is on his way out of the MandoVerse. According to some rumors, due to his packed schedule, Pascal will be leaving The Mandalorian after Season 3 with the show shifting its focus on characters like Luke Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano, a rumor that has yet to be confirmed.

Turns out, there's an even wilder rumor out there and according to internet gossip, Pascal is set to be recast after Season 3 and be replaced by The Boys actor Karl Urban. Unsurprisingly, the Star Trek and Thor: Ragnarok star has never heard of the aforementioned rumor and while speaking with Radio X (via ComicBookMovie), he set the record straight regarding his alleged Star Wars casting.

Urban hilariously responded: "This is news to me. Isn't that like, 'Oh, who do we know that can work under a helmet? Oh I know, let's get Karl Urban, he did Dredd!' You know, it's like, come on guys, no."

As it stands, we're still being kept in the dark with regards to Lucasfilm's plans for the beloved Disney+ series. However, considering it has consistently been delivering the goods since its premiere in 2019, it would be safe to assume that Din Djarin's adventures will continue past Season 3.

Speaking of, the third season of The Mandalorian is expected to drop in late 2022 or early 2023.
