The Long-Awaited Gambit X-Men Spinoff Finally Gets A Release Date

Channing Tatum's long-awaited Gambit film had a lot of production delays so it wasn't clear if the X-Men spinoff film would still see the light of day, but according to a recent report, it sounds like Fox is confident that it will be released next year.

According to IO9, Gambit's current release date is on June 7, 2019. They initially stated that it will be released on Valentine's Day next year but that didn't turn out to be true. Hopefully, they will commit to the date. Fans have been waiting for it for so long already. They still haven't started production for the film so if they want to hit their target date, the film should start filming in a few months from now. It better not be a half-assed spinoff.

It would be amusing to see Channing Tatum's Gambit show up in a Deadpool film but there's no sign of him in the Deadpool 2 trailers. Maybe he can show up in the third Deadpool film is they'll ever make that.
