The LEGO Batman Movie Gets New Minifigure Collection

There's something about the upcoming The LEGO Batman Movie that gives it a charm of its own. Maybe it's the unapologetic way it plays around with the Batman lore and subverts it. Maybe it's in the lovable characters with more personality than previously portrayed.

Now, fans can go for the full LEGO collection of the movie, as the company has just showcased the full lineup of the 20-figure collection. Over at the official Facebook, we see the very colorful characters in solo poses, just so you can see what's in store.

The collection includes both the classic characters as well as new ones, less known ones, and even cameos and costumes to give the figure collection one of the most extensive so far.

Some of the characters in the collection include Joker, Harley Quinn in a love nurse outfit, the geeky Robin, Commissioner Gordon, and Red Hood. The others are a little more outrageous, such as the different costumes of Batman—Cave Man Batman, Metal Rock Batman, Fairy Batman and Summer Lovin' Batman are just the top of the iceberg.

The LEGO Batman Movie minifigures will be out on January 2017.

Synopsis:

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made "The LEGO® Movie" a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

The LEGO Batman Movie is under the direction of Chris McKay. Will Arnett will reprise his role as the vice of Batman/Bruce Wayne. Zach Galifianakis will play the role of The Joker, Michael Cera as Dick Grayson/Robin, Rosario Dawson as Barbara Gordon, and Ralph Fiennes as Alfred. The LEGO Batman Movie will be out in theaters on Feb. 10, 2017.
