One of the much-awaited games predicted to have an update in this years E3 2021 showed more than what everyone has been fussing about as not only did Nintendo reveal their plan for the 2022 release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, but also, it dropped the gameplay trailer of the game after a long wait of almost two years after the first announcement of the sequel back in 2019.

During the Nintendo Direct presentation on the fourth day of E3 2021, a new trailer was unveiled for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 – the first release after the announcement of the sequel back in 2019, and those waiting for the game were definitely served with an exciting update as well as they also revealed a more concrete release date window.

In the trailer, we see Link venture into the skies and as he lands, he explores the environment with the help of techniques familiar for those who already played Breath of the Wild. Link gets a handheld flamethrower and what seems to be a teleport system which gives him the ability to go uphill climbs and appear from a pool afterward.

We see the Hyrule Castle up above the skies by the end of the trailer and this version of the game is surely darker than the previous one. As teased, the game would be freer and more open into a world of discovery and adventure.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is slated for release in 2022 on Nintendo Switch.
