The Internet Is Going Crazy Over Star Wars: The Last Jedi’s High-Res Shirtless Kylo Ren

Star Wars: The Last Jedi might be a commercial and critical success, however, the film has also provided netizens with one of the most memeable frames back in 2017 – the shirtless Kylo Ren.

The shirtless leader of the Knights of Ren became a sensation right after fans saw the half-naked Ben Solo (Adam Driver) chatting up with a very uncomfortable Rey (Daisy Ridley) through a connection in the force. Now it seems like Disney's released a high-res image of Kylo Ren and now the internet's going wild, slapping around the photo across social media platforms and turning naked Ren into a meme. There are edits where fans put in the grinning face of Emperor Palpatine and others turning him into a model for "America's Best Fitting Premium Jeans."

There are a bunch of priceless memes from back in December too when all fans had were poor copies of the handsomely high-waisted leader of the Knights of Ren.

Driver's had his set of fans, but it seems like Star Wars: The Last Jedi has certainly turned him into a hot topic. Though the half-naked Kylo Ren certainly wasn't intended for fan-service purposes (Rian Johnson wanted to show fans that Rey could definitely see Kylo Ren when she and Ben Solo would find themselves connected to the Force), we're wondering whether Ren would go naked again in Star Wars: Episode IX. Let's wait and see.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is currently screening in cinemas.
