The Incredibles 2 Teaser Becomes Most-Viewed Animated Film Trailer In History

After years and years of waiting, The Incredibles fans finally got to see the very first teaser for The Incredibles 2 last Saturday. Brad Bird's 2004 computer-animated superhero film gathered a lot of great reviews from critics, winning two academy awards and the 2004 Annie Award for Best Animated Feature.

Fans have been waiting for a sequel to The Incredibles for over a decade, and now it seems like the teaser for The Incredibles 2 has become the most-watched trailer in the history of animated movies.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the short trailer earned more than 113 million views over the weekend, turning it into not only the most-viewed animated movie trailer but also the seventh most-viewed teaser of any movie in history.

Picking up where the original animated film left off, fans will get to see The Incredibles face another villain while Jack-Jack's super powers emerge.

Check out the synopsis of the film down here:

"It's a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack's emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again — which is easier said than done, even when they're all Incredible."

It's going to be exciting seeing the family deal with another incredible hero, especially since Jack-Jack seems like such a wild thing.

The Incredibles 2 hits cinemas June 15, 2018.
