The Flash's Kiersey Clemons Confirmed For An Appearance In Justice League

Dope actress Kiersey Clemons was originally attached to appear as reporter Iris West in The Flash when Rick Famuwiya was still attached as director. Good news is, despite Famuwiya's departure, Clemons is still onboard with the project, and news has it that her character will debut in the upcoming Justice League.

In an interview with Modeliste Magazine, Clemons says:

"This November, I'm making a cameo in Justice League as Iris West and it's the first time that you meet her before we get to see her in The Flash with Ezra Miller. It was my first time doing something so extravagant like that. We filmed in London and that's one of my favorite places."

In the comics, Iris West was a photojournalist who was romantically attached to Barry Allen and they even ended up marrying each other. With that in mind, it's possible that DC would want to shake things up for the character and her relationship with Barry. Just don't kill her off all of a sudden like poor Jimmy Olsen in Batman v Superman.

Clemons seems to be getting more attention as an actress recently. After appearing in the Seth Rogen/Zac Efron-fuelled Neighbors 2, Clemons will also be appearing alongside Ellen Page and Diego Luna in the remake of 1990's Flatliners. Let's hope she rides this wave swiftly to the top.

As of now, the production of The Flash is in trouble because it is yet to find a new director after two people have already quit the project. Hopefully Clemons' cameo is still intact in Justice League when it comes out Nov. 17.
