Killer Frost-slash-Caitlin has enjoyed quite some nice airtime and character exploration in the latest season of The Flash.

But if a new teaser from actor Robbie Amell who portrayed Caitlin's fiancé and true love, we may be seeing a return this season. Speaking to Comicbook.com, Amell teased that there's a possibility we'll be seeing Ronnie back for the series.

"Well, the nice thing is when you're dead in that universe, there is always another Earth, but I think that version [Earth-1] of Ronnie is dead because he sacrificed himself to save the city. But you know there is always Earth-3, Earth-4, Earth-5."

While this is not a confirmation of whether the half of Firestorm will actually return and make Caitlin happy again. But if it's any consolation, Amell himself is hopeful that his character will be brought back to life. And Flashpoint would be the best bet to do it without sounding too far off.

Hopefully, fans still feel the same way. Technically, Ronnie has suffered quite a number of deaths--during the origin storm, as Firestorm, as Deathstorm, and as himself. Bringing him back should give us some assurance that we won't be adding another death to his record.

The Flash airs Tuesdays, 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
