Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse ended up winning the Oscar for Best Animated Feature after all, which pleased many who were expecting yet another Disney win. The win is well-deserved since the movie is simply phenomenal, telling a unique Spider-Man story that manages to be funny, heartbreaking, and beautiful. Considering how gorgeous the animation was, it deserved to win based on that alone.

If you haven't seen Into the Spider-Verse yet and are still on the fence when it comes to picking up the Blu-Ray, Sony has you covered. The studio has made the film's first 9 minutes viewable online, so if you want to see some parts of the movie in action, here you go. These 9 minutes don't really spoil anything major, though you will get to see some of blonde Peter Parker and Miles Morales pre-spider bite.

With Sony planning to make Spider-Verse a bankable franchise, it's easy to see why the studio would want more people to check out this movie. This is technically the beginning of this series of animated films and a sequel was essentially confirmed during the movie's post-credits sequence. Aside from Miles and Gwen seemingly returning, Spider-Man 2099 will also play a major role in whatever happens next.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is now available digitally. The Blu-Ray comes out later this month.
