The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Will Allegedly Introduce Battlestar

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is currently undergoing production, and we've already known for a while that it will introduce us to a government-approved Captain America in the form of John Walker a.k.a. US Agent (Wyatt Russell). What's interesting is, the movie could also be introducing us to Walker's partner.

According to Murphy's Multiverse, the series will be introducing us to Lemar Hoskins a.k.a. Battlestar. In the comics, Hoskins was a soldier alongside Walker, and after Walker became the government-approved Captain America, Hoskins was the appointed Bucky (later changed to Battlestar).

Since Captain America kind of functions on his own in the MCU, it would be fun to watch the government try and scramble and make their own Cap that follows the rules. We don't know if they'll go so far as to appoint him his own sidekick, but some vans have been spotted on set that read "Hoskins Family Flowers". Maybe Battlestar won't come full form in the series, but he may we could be meeting Lemar Hoskins for sure.

With all these characters introduced, the plot is starting to look a tad convoluted—but that's why we have a whole series for it. Hopefully, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will have hour-long episodes, because though I like The Mandalorian, I'm seriously irked that each episode is only 30 minutes long.

For now, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is set for a release in the fall of 2020 on Disney+.
