There is little doubt that people have been waiting for The Elder Scrolls VI for a long time now. However, Bethesda has already confirmed that we won't get the new game until after the release of Starfield. But did the publisher actually reveal the setting of the next Elder Scrolls title in the Starfield trailer?
There haven't been any updates on The Elder Scrolls 6 for a long time but that's understandable considering that Bethesda is putting the focus on Starfield. Not surprisingly, there was no news about the game during E3 2021 as the developer released the trailer for Starfield. However, fans were quick to notice what looks like a tease at Elder Scrolls 6 in the footage.
In the Starfieldtrailer, a pilot is shown on a ship. As he is seated in the cockpit, there is a quick zoom at the control panel where a small drawing is visible. Although it only looks like scratched paint to some, others pointed out that it appears to be a map of Hick Rock. Check it out here.
It's an interesting discovery considering that fans have been waiting for updates on The Elder Scrolls 6. The little Easter egg in the Starfield trailer is certainly a welcome one but Bethesda has yet to confirm whether the game will be set in High Rock or Hammerfell. Hopefully, we'll get some news soon.
Starfield will be available on Microsoft Windows and Xbox Series X/S on November 11, 2022. The Elder Scrolls VI has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
