The Defenders is finally coming up on Netflix later this summer and everyone's excited to see the different Marvel Netflix heroes getting together, not just for the fight scenes but for the different interactions they're bound to have together.
Imagine Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones exchanging witty lines with Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock, or finally seeing Mike Colter's Luke Cage after he left her the way he did in the first season of Jessica Jones. Now, before the foursome start having fun in The Defenders, it seems like the group have begun trolling each other on Twitter.
Marvel plays around with its different social media handles a lot, and that includes the members of The Defenders. This week the heroes have been bantering on Twitter, making fun of each other after the Daredevil Twitter account posted a clip of Matt fighting with Wai Ching Ho's Madame Gao.

With the series premiering in less than two months time, it's pretty understandable how Marvel's begun low-key marketing by doing a little online trolling. It's simple, it's fun, and it gets fans excited for the new Marvel Netflix superhero team.
The Defenders get together on August 18 on Netflix while The Punisher comes out later this year.
