The 135 Things That Are Wrong With Star Wars: The Force Awakens

The guys at CinemaSins are at it again, and this time Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the movie being grilled. As much as some fans loved the seventh installment in the space opera series, there’s no denying that there are a handful of sins that The Force Awakens has committed.

According to CinemaSins, the film had 135 sins to be exact.

Looking at the video, there are completely valid criticisms in it, such as Poe Dameron leaving the map of Luke’s location to BB-8, Kylo Ren having to rely on his subordinates to take care of capturing the droid when he could do it faster himself, the way Poe and Finn got completely separated after their ship crashes on Jakku, as well as how Poe just managed to leave his jacket behind.

Of course, not all the sins in the video are meant to criticize the film. Some are just meant to be funny and meant to be watched.

Take a look at the video below:

It’s worth noting that despite the many sins listed out in this video, Star Wars: The Force Awakens did an awesome job at subtracting some of these sins. The scenes which counted as spectacular even for CinemaSins standards include Kylo Ren’s unique use of the Force by stopping a blaster bolt in mid-air, something never before seen in any Force-wielding being in the galaxy far, far away. Other scenes which merited subtractions to the film’s scenes also include Finn’s successfully shooting down a TIE fighter while on board the Millennium Falcon, something that the narrator can’t help laughing at, and the adorable BB-8 making a thumbs up.
