Sega has just released the new DLC for Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles which adds Tengen Uzui to the game’s roster.
Tengen Uzui the Sound Hashira is now available as a new character in the Demon Slayer fighting game for players who purchase the new Character Pass. Though much like other DLC characters, Tengen Uzui is only playable in the game’s Versus Mode.
Along with Tengen Uzui, the character pack also includes new profile photos and quotes. The Character Pack DLC is not free though as players will need to purchase it on their platform to get access.
Sega did release a free update for the game to coincide with the DLC’s release. This update adds the Yoshiwara Entertainment District stage to Versus Mode – a perfect match for Tengen Uzui as he is one of the main characters in the Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc.
Tengen Uzui is the first in a series of five upcoming DLC characters. Called the Additional Character Pack, Sega will release four more upcoming roster members consisting of alternate versions of the main characters and a duo character.
These new characters include Nezuko Kamado - Advanced Demon Form, Tanjiro Kamado - Entertainment District, Zenitsu Agatsuma - Entertainment District, Inosuke Hashibira - Entertainment District, and “Daki and Gyutaro.”
Finally, Sega released the Kimetsu Academy Summer Uniforms Pack for purchase on all platforms. This DLC features school uniform costumes for Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Giyu.
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles is an arena fighting game developed by CyberConnect2. The game features a story mode that lets players experience the Demon Slayer story from the beginning until the Mugen Train Arc.
The game also features a Versus Mode where players can control their favorite Demon Slayer characters and participate in two-versus-two battles against CPU opponents or other players through multiplayer.
The Hinokami Chronicles is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
