Teen Titans: The Judas Contract Animated Film is Coming in Spring 2017

Spring of next year will bring a new movie that follows Justice League vs. Teen Titans. The ragtag of mostly teenager superheroes Teen Titans will star in Teen Titans: The Judas Contract.

DC confirmed the new animated full-feature film together with the Batman: The Killing Joke panel premiere. Announced over the official DC Comics website, the company confirmed that it has ties with the 1984 comic book of the same name.

A project from Wolfman and Perez, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract will bring Terra into the storyline. This is supposedly one of the better known and revered storylines for the Teen Titan universe.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract will arrive together with a new DC Universe Original Movies Batman and Harley Quinn from Bruce Timm and Justice League Dark. The latter comic book brings in John Constantine, and as such, will bring a new layer of magic and demons in the DC universe.

Even though DC is a little lacking in the movies department compared to Marvel, there's no doubt that its animated feature films are booming each year. I managed to catch Justice League vs. Teen Titans this year, and I enjoyed it. There's something about the dynamics of the Teen Titans that gives it a lighthearted feeling—until you remember the fact that each of them has a dark past that made them misfits to begin with.

Expect all three DC animated full-feature movies sometime in 2017.
