Teen Titans Go Fires Back at Deadpool 2's DC Diss

Deadpool's fourth-wall breaking wit ran rampant during the final trailer for Deadpool 2, not only mocking Marvel films but DC ones as well. The stinging comment came when he told Cable that he would fit in the DC universe, considering how dark he was. Well, two can play it that way, as DC has responded via the Twitter account of Teen Titans Go.

The Teen Titans Go cartoon has had its fair share of fourth-wall breaking moments, so it's no surprise that they would be the ones to respond. While the series remains controversial, it does have its fans and is even open to criticism, literally having an episode dedicated to how much better the old cartoon was.

On Twitter, the Teen Titans Go account mentions how Ryan Reynolds was once part of the DC universe when he was Green Lantern. The account even shares a GIF from the upcoming Teen Titans Go! To The Movies, where Green Lantern (John Stewart) brings up the film. Anyone who's seen it knows that it was a pretty bad movie, including Reynolds himself, so this is a fun rib from Warner Bros.

Will Ryan Reynolds respond? He'll probably do so in a fun way and it should be hilarious. Here is hoping that both Deadpool 2 and Teen Titans Go! To The Movies are just as funny.

Teen Titans Go! To The Movies hits theaters on July 27. Deadpool 2 comes out on May 18.
