Take A Look At Bald Gamora On Avengers: Infinity War Set

Transforming into Gamora can certainly take time for Zoe Saldana.

Earlier this week, the Guardians of the Galaxy star decided to Insta-Story the process it takes to turn into Marvel's green colored Zen-Whoberis assassin-turned-hero on the set of Avengers: Infinity War. Apparently, it takes more or less four hours to work on the make-up of Gamora, and the actress' post shows a bald version of the fighter.

Check out a few screenshots of Saldana's video down here:

It really takes time working on the make-up of heroes like Gamora, and it's good to see how the actress takes the entire transformation process with aplomb. Of course, four hours isn't as bad as what other actors have to go through transforming into aliens and other complicated-looking characters.

Doctor Who star Christopher Eccleston just recently opened up about the troubles he had turning into Malekith, leader of the Dark Elves in Thor: The Dark World. According to the British actor, Marvel had lied to him about the amount of work it would take playing Malekith in the Thor sequel. Apparently, it would take the make-up artists nearly seven to eight hours of work to turn Eccleston into the Dark Elf, forcing him to come in at 4 in the morning, finish doing the make-up at 10 am and then work for hours filming on set. Guess it really isn't easy to be an actor.

Avengers: Infinity War hits cinemas May 4, 2018, while Avengers 4 makes its big premiere May 3, 2019.
