Justice League was expected to take Thor: Ragnarok out of the number one spot in the box office, but the movie is actually underperforming thanks to some mixed reviews. Ragnarok director Taika Waititi is ever-present in social media, and he found some weird way to promote his movie with the use of the official Justice League poster.

Of course, this is all in good fun, and it shouldn't be taken as "bashing" for Justice League's mixed reception. Even with Joss Whedon taking the helm, it seems that a lot of fans still found issue with the film—especially with Henry Cavill's CGI-removed moustache.
Thor: Ragnarok, on the other hand, received sparkling reviews, and everyone is in love with Waititi and his work. For now, Waititi is said to be in talks to direct the live-action Akira adaptation, which he says he'll base on the manga rather than the comic.
Personally, being a huge fan of Waititi, I thought Ragnarok was okay at best. Watching the rest of his filmography, you'll notice that Waititi is capable of better humor. I guess the jokes just didn't feel as good as they did when I saw the movie. Also, it's weird how cartoonishly vain Loki becomes in Ragnarok.
Thor: Ragnarok may have seen the end of its theatrical run but Justice League is now out in theaters.
