Super Saiyan Trunks and Super Saiyan Vegeta Added to Dragon Ball Legends

Dragon Ball Legends has proven to be a decent enough mobile game, offering a fun battle system, great graphics, and the usual free-to-play trappings that prevent it from being great. When it launched not too long ago, it only had characters from the early part of Z, with Super Saiyan Goku being the most powerful fighter at the time.

Thanks to the most recent update, we can now confirm that the Super Saiyan versions of Trunks and Vegeta are now in the game. Because of the short videos that accompany the game's Twitter, we can also confirm that Android 19 has joined the fray, so expect Cell, 17, and 18 to join them soon.

Having more Super Saiyan characters is great, especially since Goku was the only one before. Unfortunately, given the nature of these games, it will take a while to get these characters unless you pay for them right away. Sure, players can try their luck with the free in-game stuff but that will take up a lot of stuff.

Legends has an original story mode that focuses on Shallot, an original character who has proven to be more interesting than expected. The story itself is just alright but it can be used to grind for in-game currency so that's a fine option.

Dragon Ball Legends is available now on iOS and Android devices.
