Suicide Squad Director Denies Jared Leto's Reported Wacky Antics

When Suicide Squad was still all the rage, one of the biggest stories to come from production was Jared Leto's weird behavior. Several actors have stated that Leto got too into character as The Joker, sending them inappropriate "gifts" that no one wanted. Now that the 30 Seconds To Mars singer has confirmed his return, his antics have been downplayed by some noteworthy names.

One of those names is the director of the infamous film David Ayer, who went to Twitter and said Leto was a "total gentleman." Considering how several actors actually mentioned his wacky antics, it has made fans wonder if they were made up to hype the film. Another possibility is the fact that Warner Bros want this story to be buried to the public, now that he's up for Suicide Squad 2 and a possible Harley and Joker spin-off.

Now that Leto has confirmed his return and executives are playing nice with the actor/singer, it will be interesting to see if the rumored fast-track of Suicide Squad 2 is real. One would think that a Harley and Joker film set after the events of the first film would make sense, since they did escape together in the end. Whatever the case, here is hoping the Academy Award Winner gets more screen time.

As of this writing, no planned release date for a Suicide Squad sequel has been reported. Warner Bros are reportedly trying to get several directors to help make the project.
