Mob Psycho 100 is one of the best anime shows I've seen recently, and I'm glad that Studio Bones is moving forward with a new project.

Bone Studios recently hosted film screenings for Cowboy Bebop: Knockin on Heaven's Door, Fullmetal Alchemist: Conquer of Shamballa, and Sword of the Stranger. At the event, producer Masahiko Minami and director Masahiro Ando talkeda about a new Mob Psycho 100 project. Several fans shared the news on Twitter, and here's one tweet:

Studio Bones also teased that "something" might happen on September 29 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Sword of the Stranger.

Mob Psycho 100 is from the web-comic artist One, who's best known for creating One Punch Man. The anime series is definitely worth checking out. Its unique art style might turn off some viewers at first but there's a lot of good reasons to watch this anime. The most surprising thing for me here was the great character development.

You can read the synopsis for Mob Psycho 100 Season 1 below:

"Kageyama Shigeo (a.k.a. "Mob") is a 8th grader with psychic abilities. He could bend spoons and lift objects with his mind from a young age, but he slowly began to withhold from using his abilities in public due to the negative attention he kept receiving. Now, the only thing he wants is to become friends with a girl in his class, Tsubomi. With his psychic "mentor" (who has no psychic powers), he continues his daily life, attempting to realize his purpose in life."
