Street Fighter V Looking To Have Arcade Mode

Audience reception over the Street Fighter V CG trailerlast week had been overwhelmingly positive. However, the same can't be said for the game itself. The launch of Street Fighter V wasn't short of server issues. In addition, it received questionable reviews with its underwhelming single-player content pointed out.

Fortunately, Capcom is making an effort at addressing these issues as a response to the negative public feedback.

A Capcom representative reportedly told Forbes via email that the video game company is looking to add an arcade mode to the game.

As quoted by the publication, the Capcom representative's exact words were:

The team is looking into adding an Arcade Mode and we'll have more information to share soon.

In addition to this delightful news, the Capcom rep added that the company is also planning on adding difficulty sliders to the Character Stories mode.

Veterans and new gamers have reportedly had a hard time outdoing the usual 3-round match vs CPU environment. I agree with the publication's hopes that Capcom's arcade mode addition won't only fix the problem, but that the improvement would be free as well. Otherwise, it wouldn't sit well for the video game company if gamers don't meet just expectations after all the hype.
