Street Fighter 5 Ibuki Trailer Features Its Next DLC Character's Ninja Moves

Capcom has revealed Ibuki to be the next DLC character in Street Fighter 5, and they released a trailer to show off her tricksy ninja moves.

Ibuki works slightly different in SF5 than previous versions of the game. In SF5, she can glide through the air and toss out ninja bombs, making it hard to predict where she will land. She can also only stock five kunais at a time, so you have to think strategically about their use.

Her V-Trigger is called Isshaku Horokudama: she chucks a bomb at her opponent. Depending on which direction is held, the bomb either detonates quickly after a slight delay or after a longer delay. It seems you can trigger the explosion manually as well.

In addition to Ibuki's launch, a brand new alternate stage will also be included: A daytime version of the Kanzuki Estate (Karin's arena), named Estate at Noon.

Ibuki will be released alongside the story mode at some point in June, and this news disappointed a lot of Street Fighter 5 players, particularly those who bought the game's season pass, as Capcom had promised one DLC character would be released each month for six months following the game's February release. The game had Alex in March, Guile in April, but now Ibuki is skipping May, we won't have one this month. This in-game shop hasn't even launched yet.
