It looks like Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer are imagining a much more expansive run for the wildly popular ode-to-the-80's science fiction series.
Speaking in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Duffer Brothers speak about their plans for future seasons for Stranger Things with the two revealing how they want the show to have a definite end.
"Everything changes as we move forward so we'll see," Ross said during the interview with Matt adding, "I want it to have a really finite ending. I don't want it to be one of those shows that runs out of gas and they lose it because they're losing interest. You wanna end when you're on top."
Ross also reveals a larger expanse for the growing Stranger Things series, revealing:
"Hopefully you'll come to the end of season 2 and feel fully satisfied and want more but you'll feel like it has come to a conclusion. But also we've laid the ground work for further seasons."
Based on the Duffer brother's interview, it seems like the two Stephen King fans are expecting a lengthy run for Stranger Things, something which may please fans who hate seeing good shows go too soon.
Stranger Things season 2 arrives sometime in Halloween this year.
