The great Steven Spielberg has hired writer David Koepp to pen the script for the recently-announced Indiana Jones 5, which is set to be released in theaters on June 19, 2019.
Koepp's filmography includes Indiana Jones: The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Jurassic Park, The Shadow, Mission: Impossible, Stir of Echoes, Spider-Man, Secret Window, War of the Worlds, Premium Rush, andJack Ryan: Shadow Recruit among his many credits.
The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull wasn't well-received. Many fans thought the idea of bringing in aliens in the movie was ridiculous, but George Lucas came up with that idea, and at least he's no longer involved in the fifth Indiana Jones film.
