Star Wars VIII First Image Signals Start of Post-Production


The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer may still be fresh on everyone's minds. However, next year's blockbuster, Star Wars Episode VIII is also making considerable progress in its development.

Director Rian Johnson has already teased via Instagram a new image that finallyshows the first day of the movie's post-production stage, seen below.

Johnson has recently just gotten back work on Star Wars Episode VIII. Also, John Williams, has also been announced to start working on the music score for the movie. Williams has also reportedly seen an early cut of the movie, which should give him ample material to work with in producing the score.

Of course, fans are already expressing their excitement with the update. From proclamations of wanting to be assistants on the editing process to just congratulating how far Star Wars Episode VIII has come, it seems that fans are very supportive of the endeavor.

Star Wars Episode VIII will arrive in theaters on December 2017.
