A new rumor emerges, stating that a Star Wars The Mandalorian MMO is currently in development at Xbox. The upcoming remake of the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic will be released on the PlayStation 5 console exclusively so it shouldn’t be surprising to hear that Xbox will have its own Star Wars console exclusive.
The new rumor comes from two sources. More specifically, the rumor comes from Skullzi and Nick Baker over on Twitter, with Baker being one of the most prominent leakers/insiders when it comes to Xbox.
Baker first revealed that Zenimax Online was working on a new Star Wars The Mandalorian game last year. Since then, there has been no information about it until this week, when a new rumor from Skullzi, stated that they’ve heard behind the scenes this same thing, adding that the game is an MMO, which isn’t very surprising when you know that it is the studio behind The Elder Scrolls Online game.
Skullzi stated that they are not an insider or a leaker, Rather, they are simply reporting on the rumors that they "hear going down behind the scenes." With that said, it sounds like whoever is giving them information has very good information, because Baker signed off on much of it.
For now, you should take every rumor regarding The Mandalorian MMO game with a grain of salt. Although we’ve heard some news about Xbox currently working on a Star Wars game, we haven’t heard any "The Mandalorian" or "Zenimax Online" in these news.
As of now, none of the involved parties have released an announcement or commented on any of this. In the meantime, remember that all of the rumors regarding the Star Wars The Mandalorian MMO game are not yet official.
