Star Wars: The Last Jedi Leak: Snoke Arranges a Family Reunion

Mike Zeroh is at it again, revealing leaks of images that are supposed to be shown in the first trailer of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. His source, FourChan, claims, "The teaser is epic and reveals nothing at the same time." That may be a bit of a contradiction because the supposed images have Supreme Leader Snoke coming out in all his glory, in an entrance that sounds as dramatic as the first appearance of Darth Vader in Star Wars: A New Hope.

Mike Zeroh does caution us that FourChan had been hit-and-miss with his leaks before. He advises that the following images be taken with a "grain of salt." While they do not reveal key points or twists in the storyline, they are tantalizing enough to provoke more theories.

One report says the film will show planets where the action takes place, including Snoke's base of operations. The spoiler-filled scenes below do have a lot of action with our favorite characters like Finn, Poe, Luke, and Leia in fighting form as they wrestle with Snoke and the Dark Side of the Force.

Following are the alleged scenes that will be shown in the first trailer:

Finn (John Boyega) waking up from his coma, breathing heavily and looking like he came out from a nightmare.

Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) rushing into a room, shouting, "They're already here!"

What looks like a funeral procession is marching, surrounded by characters in black cloaks. Then out from somewhere, a figure emerges and fires.

A battalion of Stormtroopers invades a city that looks like Jeddah and starts firing at the civilians.

The screen turns black and out of it Leia's (Carrie Fisher) voice says, "Their shadow is growing."

Snoke (Andy Serkis) emerges from the darkness. He is eight-feet tall, totally bad-ass looking, and is not CGI. He towers above an intimidated Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie) and growls, "Is he alive?" Phasma replies, "Barely, Supreme Leader." Snoke is pleased, "Good, the time has come for a family reunion."

Finn bursts into a meeting being held by Leia and her advisers on the deck of a ship. He shouts, "They're back!" Leia doesn't look surprised. She admits, "I knew."

The Millennium Falcon bursts out of the sea and flies into space.

Stormtroopers come running out of a dark alley, like theyre fleeing from something. The only one who stands her ground is Captain Phasma. Then a Jedi's blue lightsaber lights up the scene and strikes against Phasma's helmet. The screen turns black. The voice of Luke Skywalker says, "Everything dies with us."

Nothing has been confirmed, obviously, and the source of the leak has a spotted record. According to Zeroh, FourChan nails it big sometiimes, but he can also be wrong. The supposed trailer also raises a lot of questions: Why isn't Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) in the picture? Ditto with Rey (Daisy Ridley) - and these are the two main characters in the next generation of star warriors. Why would anyone disrupt Han Solo's (Harrison Ford) funeral procession, assuming he is the one being honored?

Combined together, the leak shows a huge confrontation between Luke, Leia, Finn, and Poe on one hand, with Snoke and Phasma on the other. Luke's last statement is also ominous. Then again, if the leak holds true, this shouldn't be surprising. The main rule of trilogies these days is to have the second installment become the darkest and most disturbing, while opening up more surprising avenues for the storyline. Star Wars itself set the standard with The Empire Strikes Back, which many fans and critics still believe to be the best in the entire saga.

Will Star Wars: The Last Jedi top that record?

Anyway, if only one of the two main scenes in this leak is true, it's still worth the wait.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi, directed by Rian Johnson, opens in cinemas on December 15, 2017.
