Star Wars The Last Jedi Director Attending D23

A lot of fans were disappointed that the San Diego Comic-Con will not be having any Star Wars panels this year, but it looks like we might get a special reveal at Disney's D23 Expo. Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson just confirmed that he'll be making an appearance.

Check it out:

Of course, this doesn't really mean that there will be some big reveals, but you can't blame the fans for being a bit optimistic. It has been rumored that though we wouldn't be getting any new trailers, there would be a behind-the-scenes sizzle reel much like the ones released for The Force Awakens and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Since The Last Jedi is the closest Star Wars movie coming out, it would make sense that they would be releasing more promo material for TLJ. Then again, we have yet to get our first look at the Han Solo spinoff movie which is now being directed by Ron Howard.

Who knows, maybe we can get a sizzle reel for TLJ and a teaser for Han Solo. I just hope it all turns out well.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters Dec. 15, and Han Solo: A Star Wars Story is slated for a release on May 25, 2018.
