Star Wars: The Last Jedi can now be downloaded and fans have been pleasantly surprised by the deleted scenes available. Rian Johnson had previously stated that that was shown in theaters was his director's cut but pointed out that some fun scenes were cut. The scene we'll be looking at today has some bite to it, thanks to Rose Tico.
This deleted scene is basically an extension of the one where Finn and Rose are betrayed by DJ. General Hux decides to taunt Rose in a creepy way by stroking his fingers on her cheek. Thankfully, the feisty Resistance member retaliates by biting his finger, showing that she isn't backing down.
Admittedly, it's not as cool as Captain Phasma's deleted scene, which actually improves the film and makes the character more interesting. Still, Rose was already fairly developed in The Last Jedi, so it makes sense to remove this particular scene. Johnson did state that a lot of Finn and Rose's scenes in the First Order's base was cut so that the film could have a good pace.
Fans can purchase Star Wars: The Last Jedi on digital outlets now. The Blu-Ray version of the film can be bought on March 27.
