Last week word came out that a new teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi is finally on its way and while fans continue to wait for the new preview footage to come out, Lucasfilm's filling up the hole with a new set of behind-the-scenes images for The Force Awakens sequel.
Taken by Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, the photos recently posted by Vanity Fair show photographer Annie Leibovitz working around with a bunch of aliens, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, the late Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill.
Check out the images down below:
Shot during the Vanity Fair photoshoot for the publication's special Star Wars 40th anniversary cover, the bts photos show the cast The Last Jedi hard at work with Leibovitz. One of the pictures gives fans an intimate look between Hamill and Fisher playing out there role as the Force sensitive twins from a galaxy far, far away. Of course the photos don't give anything away, but it's pretty interesting to see Kennedy taking photos of her own behind the scenes.
Featuring Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Peter Mayhew, Andy Serkis, Anthony Daniels, Lupita Nyong'o, Benicio Del Toro, Kelly Marie Tran, and Laura Dern, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to premiere on December 15, 2017.
