Spoilers ahead for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but considering how the film is close to beating Avatar's record, you've probably seen it multiple times already.
At the final scene of The Force Awakens, we see Rey (Daisy Ridley) finally meeting Luke Skywalker on an ancient-looking island. Its real world location is Skellig Michael, which is off the coast of Ireland. This new featurette focuses on how the location was found, and it includes footage of J.J. Abrams and the crew filming the final scene of movie.
Back in September, it was reported that Star Wars Episode VIII director Rian Johnson has already shot scenes at Skellig Michael for Episode VIII, before principal photography begins in earnest later this month.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is now showing in theaters. The next Star Wars film coming this year is Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. You can read about that here.
